Notice:

In light of the Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) I will be operating a remote therapy service in addition to the usual service, so that children and young people can still have access to therapy during this difficult time.  This is particularly important due to raised levels of anxiety and uncertainty.  If you are an adult who is concerned about your child  I am offering telephone sessions as a means of support. To discuss this further, please get in touch either by email: victoria@victoriaclancy.co.uk or by telephone: 07867 433 558.

Welcome to Victoria's blog - Here I'll post articles and thoughts you may find useful.

A mindful start to 2020

By Victoria, Jan 11 2020 12:44PM

I am interested in mindfulness and how this approach has shown to improve common conditions such as anxiety and depression. I recently went on an excellent training course run by Ed Halliwell, through Mindfulness Sussex. Adopting a mindful approach can help improve management of thoughts, feelings and behaviours, leading to increased wellbeing. Anyone can practice mindfulness, including children.

I am a child and adolescent psychotherapist (UKCP Registered); a counsellor; arts and play therapist based in Chichester, covering Sussex, Surrey and Hampshire. You can contact me here.
