As a Consultant Psychotherapist, Counsellor, Play and Art Therapist I work with children and adolescents with a range of needs, I also offer support for parents.

From 2025 I will expanding my practice to work with adults too.

I support a range of needs and difficulties, including those below, these don’t have to be formally diagnosed:-

Please note that Psychotherapists cannot make a diagnosis, in the UK only a Psychiatrist or Psychologist is qualified to do so.

Therapy sessions can help with common concerns such as tantrums, defiance, anger outbursts, hyperactive behaviour, bedtime routines, or problems at school such as with attendance, learning and friendships.

I provide therapeutic support for young people who are refusing to attend school, including anxiety and emotionally-based school avoidance (ESBA); young people with Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD); Obsessive-compulsive Disorder (OCD) and those on the Autistic Spectrum (ASD).

I have many years of experience working within schools, supporting young people through psychotherapy where complex issues may be present, including; loss, trauma, identity, neglect, post-traumatic stress, depression and anxiety disorders.

I support children where Special Guardianship Orders are in place and those who are Looked After within the care system.

I am an Adoption South East approved psychotherapist, counsellor and play therapist.

Whilst I specialise in acute, complex and multiple trauma in young people, I also support those with more straightforward difficulties, such as problems with friendships, confidence and typical life events.

I am a trained Psychotherapist working with children and adolescents up to 18 years of age, I am also trained in Counselling, Play, Art and Creative Therapist. I apply an integrative approach, meaning I utilise a range of models and philosophies including Humanistic Counselling; Psychodynamic Psychotherapy; Attachment Based Approaches and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to name a few.
