Who

As a Consultant Psychotherapist, Counsellor, Play and Art Therapist, I work with children and adolescents with a range of needs; I also offer support for parents.

I support a range of needs and difficulties, these don’t have to be formally diagnosed.

Please note that Psychotherapists cannot make a diagnosis, in the UK only a Psychiatrist or Psychologist is qualified to do so.

Therapy sessions can help with common concerns such as tantrums, defiance, anger outbursts, hyperactive behaviour, bedtime routines, or problems at school such as with attendance, learning and friendships. I also work with much more complex issues, including; loss, trauma, identity, neglect, post-traumatic stress, depression and anxiety disorders.
I support children who have a Special Guardianship Order and I am an Adoption South East approved psychotherapist, counsellor and play therapist.
I am a trained Psychotherapist working with children and adolescents. I apply an integrative approach, meaning I utilise a range of models and philosophies including Humanistic Counselling; Psychodynamic Psychotherapy; Attachment Based Approaches and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to name a few.
